What our Pharmavoice 100 Award Means for the Future Patient Experience

In the July-August 2020 digital edition of their official magazine, PharmaVOICE released their list of the most influential people in the life sciences industry. According to the organization, PharmaVOICE 100 recipients “provide inspiration to their peers, colleagues, and companies through their innovative and motivational approaches to addressing the industry’s myriad challenges.”

Among them is our president Pete Guillot. Even though Pete has more than 21 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and plenty of expertise with biopharma contact centers, he’s quick to say that the PharmaVOICE 100 award isn’t about him. Rather, it’s about improving patients’ lives.

“I like to think about the impact all of these people in the PharmaVOICE 100 have had on the lives of patients over all these years — the lives improved and the lives saved,” Pete says.

Pete believes that a huge part of improving patients’ lives is the untapped potential in the interactions that occur every day in the pharma contact center. The contact center is, after all, where a pharma company gets the invaluable opportunity to speak directly to patients. This dialogue is most often initiated by a patient, which means companies need to be ready to provide compliant, empathetic support.

“The richness of the conversations and the impact of the insights from those conversations on improving patients’ lives are almost limitless,” Pete says.

Our company is extremely excited about what the future holds for patients and for the pharmaceutical industry. With Pete’s recognition in the PharmaVOICE 100, we’re eager to continue showing why every contact in every contact center matters.
